Northwestern Emergency Medical Association

NEMO

A club for EMTs

◇ About Us ◇

We are a student run organization that provide a course designed to teach students the necessary skills required for emergency medical care at a basic life support level and prepare them for the National Registry of EMTs exam.

Course is offered to students enrolled at Northwestern University from Winter to Spring Quarter (January-May). Classes are virtual from 6-10pm every Wednesday and in-person from 9am-12pm every Sunday.

◇ Our Mission ◇

NEMO’s mission is to promote awareness of emergency medicine and provide opportunities for students to learn about relevant medical knowledge. It is the goal of the organization to equip students with invaluable training such as EMT-B licensing and CPR certification that may be needed during a sudden medical emergency.
